We’ll land in Tanzania, specifically at Kilimanjaro International Airport. After completing the formalities to enter the country and collecting the luggage, we will meet the guide, who will be waiting with the names of the travelers written on a sign. After the presentations we will start our great adventure through Tanzania. We will drive along the beautiful view of the volcanic landscapes and through the Rift Valley to Tarangire National Park, the sixth largest of its kind in Tanzania. We’ll explore this park located in the north, little explored and less famous than its counterparts in Ngorongoro and Serengeti, but no less interesting. Tarangire, known for its huge elephant population, is also famous for the gigantic baobabs that sift through the park, the huge, typically African tree whose legend explains that the gods placed it upside down to punish human pride. After a very full day, in the afternoon, with the sunset, we will head to the accommodation to rest and spend the night. Overnight Eillens Tree Inn (Full Board)
Early in the morning we will transfer from Karatu to one of the wonders of the world (Ngorongoro Conservation Area). This area features a deep volcanic crater; The world’s largest non-flooding, unbroken boiler. This is where we’re most likely to see to the famous 5 big animals, including the black rhino which is endangered. At Lake Magadi we will see thousands of pink flamingos preening and reflecting in the calm waters; Fantastic views. Flamingos come in and out of the crater at night, and you may hear them honking their horns like geese as they pass by. In addition to flamingos, different animals can be found along the lakeshore, including rhinos, eland, and lions. late afternoon you will be driven to Karatu. Overnight: Eillens Tree Inn (Full Board)
Breakfast and departure to the Lake Manyara Park where we can enjoy all the fauna and birds of the lake. Picnic. In the late afternoon we leave the park and driven to Kilimanjaro International Airport to take the flight out to Zanzibar/home.
